I went completely off-tracked for my April goal.
The plan was to get an LV bag for myself. But I ended up getting a pair of contour pillows, a neck massager, health supplements, my facial products, purchased my Bangkok air ticket for August and preparation for Hari Raya. Pretty much, took out two-thirds of my budget for the bag.
- Contour Pillows - $158.00
- Neck Massager - $239.00
- Health Supplements - $124.74
- Facial Products - $282.00
- Bangkok Air Tickets - $462.80
- Duit Raya - $1,000
- Kuih Raya - $262.00
And everything that I got is for my well-being. Is this how it feels like to get old?
Oh well, I'll just put it as part of my wishlist. It's not really a need but it's more of a 90%-I-really-want-that-bag kind of thing. Though I was targeting an LV Christopher MM Bagpack or Dior Hit The Road Bagpack. I would love to replace my Coach Bagpack since I've been using it close to 3 years. Again, it's not really a need but I would love to have it.
Oh well, we shall see if I will still stick to it or completely scrap this goal.

This year's Ramadan feels a little bit off for me. I don't know but I just feel disappointed in myself. I know that I didn't do as well as last year's Ramadan. After 4 years of doing my Ramadan while working from home, it feels different to be fasting and working at the new office. It was honestly a challenge. Almost on a daily basis, I feel very gassy - it's either I want to burp but I can't burp or I want to fart but I can't fart. Constantly feeling the air in my body getting stuck. And I will randomly feel that the office is too cold for comfort. Feeling sleepy before lunchtime. In Shaa' Allah, next year will be better and I will do better.
Also, I need to better prepare myself financially for next year's Ramadan and Syawal. I didn't realize that I would need quite a huge sum. Minimally, I would need $2,500.
- Iftar treat for my paternal uncles & aunties - $1,000
- Duit Raya - $1,000
- Kuih Raya - $500
I did received a piece of bad news during Ramadan. The thing that annoyed me was that I did foresee it happening with the way things were but at the end of the day, it's not my place to even voice it out. At the same time, for it to happened sooner than expected was surprising to me as well.
Hari Raya came and went. The first day went fine but Thursday & Friday are not going well so far. I'm having diarrhoea, being going in and out of the toilet at least 12 times. Originally planned to go to the gym and run errands in Orchard but have been staying home, just resting.
In Shaa' Allah, everything will be smooth sailing.
